EN PLEIN AIR BY MARSHA CONNELL - 2013 WALL CALENDARS AND GIFTS!
Lang/Perfect Timing Company invited Marsha Connell to be a featured artist in the new contemporary Artisan line, including calendars, journals, and notecards.
"The French term, En Plein Air, describes the act of painting outdoors. This energetic method of painting, first made popular
in the mid to late 1800's, was crucial to the impressionist movement. The practice continues in full swing today. . . Among
the best is Marsha Connell who was selected to paint our En Plein Air collection. Her ability to connect with and capture the
spirit of her subject is impressive."
"In the open air is an apt description of the evocative paintings of Marsha Connell, whose romantic yet contemporary
landscapes pay tribute to the time-honored artists' tradition of working outdoors in natural light. Brilliant colors and loose brushstrokes capture the wild spirit of the out-of-doors in twelve months of stirring images."

AMERICAN PHILHARMONIC - SONOMA COUNTY POSTER PROJECT
For anybody familiar with the city of Cotati, a small wine-country hamlet 50 miles north of San Francisco, the thought
of a full-size symphony orchestra squeezing into a tiny city hall across the street from grazing sheep brings a smile
to the face. For those who have actually heard the Cotati Philharmonic, the smile grows wider and deeper. more
